"I was a little apprehensive at first but my concerns were quickly resolved by the friendly and professional staff. My doctor expected that I would require knee replacement by this date. The treatment has allowed me to delay the surgery. Hopefully, this will alleviate the need for a second joint replacement at a later date. The experience has been a win-win for me and I would do it again. Kudos to the folks at CMR."

"I have Arthritic knees, which are painful. Recently I was involved as a patient in a study at Charlottesville Medical Research, located at Pantops. I met a professional and friendly staff of nurses and doctors. I found a very positive atmosphere where I was given injections which helped relieve my pain. I would gladly sign up for another study."

"I found working with the staff at Charlottesville Medical Research to be an enjoyable experience. Evonne and her assistants were always pleasant and helpful and willing to make adjustments in their schedule to make it easier for me to fit my appointments into my schedule. The technicians were professional and friendly and most of all very capable in handling their duties. I do not like to have blood drawn but they made it very tolerable and almost pleasant. I will miss all the fun memory tests, the poking and the prodding, and most of all the people that make up the Charlottesville Medical Research team."

"I have just finished my participation in my third research study (over four years) at Charlottesville Medical Research. I am pretty sure I had the “placebo” this time, but that is part of the concept and I didn’t mind. If indeed the product is approved, and it does bring relief for arthritis knee pain, it is worth whatever effort it takes. Of course, the enthusiastic interest of the CMR staff and the guidance of Dr. Clark make it even more palatable!"

"I want to share the experience that I recently had at Charlottesville Medical Research. The treatment I received and the care and compassion were excellent beyond words. The staff was very helpful, dedicated and flexible. A positive and cheerful greeting was what I always received. Actually, I can’t wait to participate in another trial."

"The doctor and staff were very thorough and efficient. I felt like everyone cared about me sincerely and always made me feel welcome. The patient recruiter was comfortable to speak with and very knowledgeable and clear about the study. Being a part of the study actually made me feel more at ease for my colonoscopy procedure. I would love to do more studies, and would highly recommend it to my friends."

"Everyone there from the staff to the doctors are wonderful. They answer your questions, and get back to you in a timely manner. They were very flexible and accommodating for my schedule, and respectful of my time. They were very appreciative of people participating in their studies. Because of this experience at CMR doing my first study, I'm looking forward to doing more studies in the future. It's been a pleasant experience and has satisfied my inner curiosity about what's happening in the world of medicine."

"My philosophy has always been to have a willingness to help medical research in finding a cure. At CMR, the staff has been professional, respectful and has always worked around my schedule. I felt comfortable enough going through the research process, that I was willing to have my own daughter participate in a study. The staff was very responsive to any questions I had, and they were very informative throughout the entire process, which allowed me to make an informed decision about participating in a study. They also reassured me constantly that I was free to unenroll from a study at any time."

"I have to admit, I was nervous to participate in any medical study! But the staff at Charlottesville Medical Research were absolutely amazing! They explained everything in detail and answered all the questions I had. They made me feel totally at ease. The nurse that attended to me during each visit was very personable, yet professional. I received excellent care and would be more than glad to take part in another study."

"It was very easy working with the staff - doctor, nurses, dietician, and receptionist. They were flexible in accommodating me and my work schedule. Dr. Pambianco was always available when I needed him. The dietician was very knowledgeable on the nutrition side and gave me updates at each monthly visit. She also made herself available to any questions that I could have. Above all, I felt my confidentiality was maintained throughout the entire study."
