We are excited that you are interested in the clinical research studies we are conducting, as our Volunteers' potential participation provides important information which is critical to the advancement of medical care for hundreds of thousands of people.
On average, Charlottesville Medical Research is involved in anywhere from 15 to 20 studies at any given time. Pharmaceutical sponsors designate a finite length of time in which we may fulfill our enrollment goals, and normally limit the number of patients we are allowed to enroll per study. The studies listed below are only a partial listing of the studies in which we are currently involved; however they are the only studies for which we can currently enroll new patients.

Anxiety
Are you between the ages of 18 - 65 and suffer from Anxiety disorder? If yes, you may be eligible to participate in 12 week, 9 office visit research study for general anxiety disorder. All participants will receive compensation for time and travel.

Fibromyalgia
Are you 18 or older and have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia? If yes, you may be eligible to participate in an eight (8) office visit research study for Fibromyalgia. All participants who complete this study will receive up to $360.00 for time and travel.

GERD (non-erosive)
Have you been diagnosed with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)? Do you experience heartburn and/or reflux symptoms at least 3 days a week? If yes, you may be eligible to participate in an approximately 9 visit GERD research study. All participants who complete this study will receive up to $700.00 for time and travel.

Insomnia
Are you 18 to 65 years of age and have difficulty sleeping at night? If yes, you may be eligible to participate in a 4 week, 5 office visit research study for insomnia. All participants who complete this study will receive compensation for time and travel.

Migraine
Are you age 18 to 65 and typically experience 2-8 migraine headaches a month? If yes, you may be eligible to participate in a 10 office visit research study for migraines. All participants who complete this study will receive up to $1,000.00 for time and travel.

Overactive Bladder
Are you 18 or older and experience urinary incontinence due to an overactive bladder? If yes, you may be eligible to participate in a 14 week, 5 office visit research study for overactive bladder. All participants who complete this study will receive up to $150.00 for time and travel.
